Electricity Bills increasing to 21% more from Oct

Wah sah! Really money not enough now! Tink Jack Neo can start producing Money-Not-Enough-3 now! Haha~!

Ytd news start reporting of increase electricity bills, and today reading the 我报 newspaper and saw tt it was a huge 21% jump! So given my ave bills of ard $100, jumping to $120+! Crazy sia! I don c my salary increments has such a huge jump of 20%? No wonder my bank a/c balance is gtg lesser money. Tog i overspent? But i tink it's the value per item has increased. Even though i spend on fewer items, the expenses are still high!

Weather nowadays are quite hot and humid, even at nite. And now we have slept in separate rooms. Not tt we have quarrel a lot, but we sending our dearest son to slp in his own room. And most of the time, i doze off beside him when i put him to bed... Therefore, we switched on 2 sets of fan! But on extreme hot weathers, we will utilise 1 room air-con, and try to squeeze back into 1 rm.

So now with the supper ex electricity bills, i muz tink of more ways to save electricity:
1) Muz remind hb not to use water heater during daytime.
2) No Air con, or only aircon for 2hrs, den switch to fan.
3) Stop sterilizing son's bottle. He's gng 2yo. So it's time to stop sterilizing. And fed him with some 'germs', so he can learn to survive.
4) No switching of more than 3lights in the house. Hb alone can switch on 3 lights at home. 2 in living rm, 1 in study rm! Power sia? Coz he can watch movie (TV + DVD) & surf net at the same time! Multi-tasker will incur more electricity bills!

Let's hope our electricity bills for Oct onwards will remains at $100!! Let's try our best!

Every Tiring Weekends

I felt very tired this morning. Not because it's a monday bluez! But rather, wkends have juz passed...

My weekends are packed with housework, looking after my son. I always felt that my wkends are more tiring than wkdays. Wkdays is juz only work 8.5hrs, follow by some pte time for myself. Ranging from aerobics workout to facial/spas.. or even chitchatting n mit up wif frenz. Then i nid rush home to put my son to bed.. n doze off for the day..

But wkends.. i look after son whole days! If bring him out, even worst! He runs abt, don sit still! Plus if he have kaki, oh.. u hear his laugher even more. Last sun, brought him to hb's cousin's 21st bday. Wow.. his grand-uncles n grand aunties luv him to the max. So he 'self-high' at the party.. laughing n running into every room, banging into everyone. He played so crazily until nite time, he woke up several time due to night mares. And poor me. Waking up several time to coax him back to slp.. And whole body aching after carrying him ard ytd...

I hate weekends!!! SOb! sOb! SoB!

DIET
Recently, my hb prompt me to try out a special diet known as Special K-by Kellogg's. I was given a small sample pack in the Shape Run Race Pack. However, my hb ate that sample pack when he was hungry, and skip a meal. He told me that the diet method was to eat the cereals to replace 2 meals. So while shopping at NTUC one day, i really went to buy the Special K.
The Kellogg's® Special K® cereal is a lightly toasted rice cereal. It was recommended on the box instructions:
1) Breakfast: Take 1 cup of the cereals with 1 cup of slim milk. Add 1 portion of fruits.
2) Lunch: Eat as usual, although will prefer healthier food.
3) Dinner: Take 1 cup of the cereals with 1 cup of slim milk. Add 1 portion of fruits.
If in btwn, i feel hungry, i can take more portions of fruits.
So with the pkt of cereals, i bought strawberries, bananas and apples to match my diet. Started on wed. So c how the result in 2wks time!
I must perserve!

The Nike+ Human Race on 31.08.08

Yeah! I did a total distance of 36.6km to-date! Which is almost a full marathon distance.. only to be split by 4 separate races... And also to mention that i have completed my 3rd race of 10km in this year 2008. Proud of myself.. despite the fact that i walk more than i run! haha~!

This nike+ race is full of youngsters.. with a lot of the runners as their 1st attempt. And it my 1st race which i get to be in the same category as my hb. But still, wen the race started.. he ran off w/o me.. only called me half way thru the race to tell me that his leg hurts, and he slowing down to walk... Still, he completed 7min 34sec earlier than me.

Some of the route are congested.. and lot of walkers who road-blocked the path. So irritating lor. If not, i would have completed few min earlier. This is becoz even though i walk, i actually walk fast.. unlike the Human Jams, it SLOW walking to squeeze thru the congested area. So time is delayed. If not, my timing shd be similar to AHM.

Well, at least they are able to load the results online the next day. Unlike AHM, which results is still not out yet and the race was ard 1.5wks ago. Damn slow!

The online analysis of the Nike race was quite nice.. featuring the speed at each quarter interval. The finisher race bracelet was aveage.. not someting fantastic.

Me ranked 194404th in the world! With an average speed of 7' 37"/km at the 2.5km mark.

Me ranked 6907th in Singapore! With an average speed of 8' 39"/km at the 5km mark.


Me ranked 2099th amongst the Females Runners in Singapore! With an average speed of 9' 16"/km at the 7.5km mark.


My final speed measures 7' 46"/km at the finish point, i.e. 10km!
